DIY Office Accessories

Hello all! I've been working hard to get my office put together and wanted to share an easy DIY to add some flare to your desk. Today we are painting ceramic bowls to store our paper clips and thumb tacks. Here's what you will need.

SUPPLIES
Ceramic bowls- I got mine from target
Ceramic paint
Paint brush

Paint the outside or inside of your bowls. Paint a coat and let dry about 30 minutes before applying the next coat, I did 4 coats total.

I've read that you need to let the painted ceramic dry 48 hours and then bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees. I did this, but I didn't see a difference in aesthetic or feel, so I'm not sure if it is truly necessary.

Now you have super cute bowls to store your office supplies.

DIY: Glitter Binders

Ready to add some sparkle to your life? We have an easy DIY that will add some glitz to your home office. Let's get started!

SUPPLIES
2 cardboard binders (Wal-Mart)
1 sheet of glitter paper or glitter stickers
glitter duck tape
adhesive machine
ruler
pencil
circle punch

If you are using glitter paper and a punch you will need to cut out about 18 circles, depending on how spaced out and how big you want the circles.

Once you have the circles cut you will need to use your sticker machine to add adhesive to the back.

Once you have your stickers lay them out on your binder to make sure you have your spacing correct. Just lightly lay them on the cardboard without pressing.

Once you have your spacing correct press them down with firm pressure. Using the duck tape is much easier since it's already sticky. just lay it out like you did the circles and once your spacing is correct press down firmly. Now you have two beautiful binders!
